Did you know Spinning Babies® is NOT just for breech babies?

Understand your body’s alignment and help your baby move into optimal positioning — even weeks before labor — using practical techniques.

So many families think it only matters if baby is head-up, but the truth is: positioning plays a huge role in how your birth unfolds.

In this class you will learn tools to:

  • Encourage baby into an optimal position before and during labor
  • Support pelvic balance + mobility for smoother progress
  • As a certified Spinning Babies® Parent Educator, I offer a personalized home visit where we work together to help your baby move into an optimal position, so your labor has a greater chance of progressing smoothly, comfortably, and with fewer complications.

What Happens During the Home Visit

I come to your home and assess your body, your posture, your movement patterns, and where your baby seems to be positioned (e.g. posterior, sideways, or if anything feels “off”).

We review techniques you can do every day leading up to the birth and in labor — posture changes, stretches, balancing activities, and hip-openers tailored to your range of motion.

The techniques are designed to help engagement and rotation and reduce back pain.

I will also show you what movements and positions to do when contractions begin so you feel ready with options for your comfort and know what to do to support your baby's engagement throughout labor.

    Why It Matters

Many parents don’t realize how much baby’s position and your posture influence the length and comfort of labor. For example, a posterior position (baby back-to-back with you) can lead to longer labors and more discomfort — especially if pushing on your back, it can strain the tailbone.

By doing a home visit, you gain clarity: what may have contributed to past long labors, what small changes you can make now, and what you can use when labor starts — so you feel more prepared and proactive.

    Who Benefits Most

  • If you suspect your baby may be posterior, sideways, or not engaged
  • If you want to be proactive rather than waiting until late in pregnancy
  • If you want to reduce back pain, improve comfort, and feel more confident during birth
  • If you’ve had a long labor before
